Men of St. Joseph

The Men of St. Joseph is an association of Christian men, united under the Catholic Church, who meet weekly to pray together and encourage each other to be the spiritual leaders of their families.  The purpose of the Men of St. Joseph is to instill holiness in men and facilitate spiritual leadership in family and community life.  

In keeping with the spirit of Men of St. Joseph chapters all over the country, here at St. Thomas by the Sea we are a group of men dedicated to being better spiritual leaders in our families and the local community.  Supporting and encouraging one another in this process is the core objective of our weekly meetings.  Every Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. we recite daily prayers, ask for God’s intercession on special needs, and read the upcoming Sunday’s scripture readings.  After the readings, we have lively, entertaining, and inspiring discussions relating to the gospel message.  Everyone has an opportunity to participate and as a result, we hear many unique perspectives on the scripture’s meaning and lessons.  We also discuss how we can best live those lessons in our daily lives.
