• Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: episcopate, presbyterate, and diaconate. Through Him, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we ask You to inspire young men to serve Your Church as priests. Grant that their families and the entire family of Faith, support these men to answer this call. Thus, may Your Son’s example of love and service continue in them to build up Your Kingdom. Strengthen all who are called to the priesthood to follow your Son and do Your holy will.
